The St. Marys Express is back at the station, this time offering rides while being entertained by actors portraying some of the greatest icons in American History.

Happening in St. Marys, Georgia, July 4, 2017, at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., the Patriotic Express will take passengers on a journey through picturesque woodlands and marshlands with entertainment all along the way. At the Midway stage, witness the re-enactment of the birth of our nation featuring Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson.

Passengers aboard the open-air cars, locomotive and caboose will also be entertained by such iconic figures as Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty. You can also sing along to favorite patriotic songs.

Barbara Ryan, St. Marys Express entertainment director, also recommends a stop at the museum: “A visit to the in-house Railroad Museum before or after the ride is always fun for our passengers. Our mission is to keep our guests engaged throughout their ride while also giving them the opportunity to relax and just breathe in the great outdoors.”
