Kinderstudios, a hub for great kids’ lessons and camps in arts like dance and music in Fernandina Beach, is kicking off a Zumba program that’s tailor-made for kids.
Zumba Kids helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination and cultural awareness.
Zumba Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba choreography. The instructor, Aimee Tafreshi, will break down the steps and add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure.
Classes will be held Monday evenings from 5-6 p.m. for the month of July.
Ages 7-11
