A few years ago, I threw my son a Thomas the Tank Engine birthday party, and finding the supplies was a task.
We found napkins and plates in Walmart, but had to head all the way to Party City in Jacksonville for more specialized Thomas party supplies like the cardboard centerpiece we put on the table. Our area just didn’t have a good party store at the time — but that has definitely changed.
The gift wrapping section, complete with dozens of wrapping papers, ribbons, tissue paper and more.
One Stop Party Shop really does take all the other “stops” out of your party planning. The store, which opened this summer in Yulee, has an incredible amount of themed party supplies packed into their space in the Eagle’s Crossing Shopping Plaza, conveniently right next door to Bliss Cupcakery.
The baking section includes cake and cupcake baking supplies, frostings, candles, and tons of themed cupcake liners.
I went to the party store with my son when we were planning my husband’s homecoming party. They had welcome home balloons mixed in with a huge selection of fun, specially-shaped balloons. My son liked the looks of the bright yellow Sponge Bob balloon, arms and legs dangling from its balloon body. And I knew my daughter would have flipped for the Elmo balloon.
They have the store sectioned off into themes to make it easy to find whatever you need for your child’s party. There are all the supplies you could dream of — from banners to treat bag favors — for a party with any theme: dinosaurs, Dora the Explorer, Monster Trucks, Barbie dolls, sports, castles, pirates, Spider Man, sharks and the list goes on. There are also supplies for other types of parties, like luaus, baby showers, bachelorette parties, retirements, you get the idea.I was genuinely amazed at all that was packed into that one store. They have a huge row of wrapping supplies and a section dedicated to cake decorating, too. There is an area where you can get tableware in any color imaginable, and the tops of the shelves are lined with pinatas. They also sell costumes, and cardboard cutouts you can use for photo ops.
I know… I took SO MANY pictures, but I felt like it was the best way to give you all the idea that this place has TONS of supplies. I got so many ideas for my own kids’ birthdays just browsing the aisles!
