Fernandina’s Boston Photography Offers “Birthing Story” Portraits

These are shots from Kellie Boston’s first Birthing Story photo shoot, taken just a couple weeks ago.

I seriously cried my eyes out when I stumbled on a slide show of Boston Photography’s first Birthing Story photo shoot (you can watch it below!).

The Fernandina Beach photographer’s brand new offering tells as much of the story as the family wants: from labor to delivery to the baby’s first moments. The Gray family, who hired Kellie Boston for the shoot, decided to have her there for everything. Her photos take you from walking in to the hospital to the moment the baby’s big sister met her for the first time.

There is nothing graphic in the photos — it’s just a beautiful collection of images showing all the millions of emotions a family goes through on the day a child is born. You can just feel the pain and quiet determination when you see Stacey Gray’s face during her labor, and you can’t help but cry tears of joy for her when you witness her meeting her child for the first time.

Kellie told me she’s absolutely hooked on these powerful photo shoots, and she wants to do many more. She told me she wishes she’d had something like that done when she had her own two children — and I agree!  I would have loved to have preserved those monumental moments with genuine, professional shots instead of the weird images my poor husband took while trying to juggle everything else that was going on.

Boston Photography is so excited to be offering a new portrait experience: Birthing Stories! Whether you are having a scheduled delivery or one that comes on its own, we want to be “on-call” to capture it all. We can capture as much or as little as you like, from great family shots, labor, delivery, baby’s first moments, and even some of those cute newborn portraits. All of our Birthing Stories will include a Portrait DVD show.

We have many other outstanding products we can offer to display these moments, including but not limited to coffee table memory books, canvas portraits, reprint release and more.
